Check out the last minute of Game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals between the Edmonton Oilers and the Carolina Hurricanes. Edmonton wins this one 4-0 and forces a game 7 back in Carolina. The crowd is going crazy and doing their best to make me deaf!
We beat Germany 5-2 (I think) in Olympic hockey last night here in Torino Italy. This is the final video from the crazy, off the hook afterparty with lots of silly drunken Canadians singing Oh Canada and Ole Ole after the stupid DJ turned off the music and nearly started a riot.
I got really lucky and had a rockstar chance to interview Sarah Conrad, Brad Martin, Mitch Brown, Justin LaMoureaux, Kristy Richards, Crispen before the Wired 2010 event put on by EA and Leading Edge BC in the BC Canada Place here at the Winter Olympics in Torino, Italia. Check it out... I get a lil lippy. *blush*
JD and Burnkit got their new office in the 'up and coming' part of Vancouver east of Main Street. The space is a work in progress but Josh has a ton of vision for the studio and it's gonna be great. Come wander around with me Jer Crowle and Joshua Dunford as we check the place out.
Come hang out behind the Seymour Building w/ Megan Cole, Bill MacEwan and I as we get the skinny on Bill's exciting new shared office space concept for independants looking a collaborative and creative place to setup shop and get out of the spare room.
Michael Poryes discusses how decisions were made on the storyline of Disney's hit show - Hannah Montana, what it is like in a story room, tips for writers, the repercussions of the Writer's Strike and his thoughts on the future of media.
kk+ and MC wander around downtown Vancouver a bit and talk about the Vancouver sunshine and some of the cool *work* parties we have lined up over the next few days. BONUS: One free awesome bachelor home economics tip at the end of this meandering 5 min stream of consciousness. Probably worth it. :P
Check out this quick interview with George from Flickr last week at the Vancouver International Digital Festival on Granville Island. I think if you absolutely forced me to pick a favorite Flickr peep.... I'd have to go with George. :)
I ran into the people who designed and sell the awesome Team Canada merchandise for the Olympics and do a lil interview with them at a wicked Italian resturant.
Sorry no nudity. Just some blather about goats and walls. Scales and me and Vigorous Tony the Translator and Tour Guide chillin on top of the Great Wall of China.
